धरान अमेरिका समाजको आयोजनामा फेयर फेक्समा शनिबार नेपाली पिक्निक भब्य रुपमा सम्पन्न भयो, राजदुत शंकर शर्माको प्रमुख आतित्थ्यमा र उत्तर अमेरिकामा रहेका सारा नेपालीहरुको छाता संगठन ए एन ए का उपाध्यक्ष्य इन्जिनियर, प्रोफेसर मेदिनी अधिकारीको बिशेष आतित्थ्यमा सम्पन्न
उक्त पिक्निक कार्यक्रम मा करिब् चार सय नेपालीहरुको उपस्थिती रहेको थियो। समाजका अध्यक्ष्य बिजय थापाको अध्यक्ष्यतामा सम्पन्न उक्त कार्यक्रममा राजदुत शर्मा, ए एन ए उपाध्यक्ष्य अधिकारी, अन्तराष्ट्रिय कलाकार मन्चका अध्यक्ष्य एबम नेपाल मदर डट कमका प्रधान सम्पादक   रामप्रसाद खनाल, सगरमाथा टि भि का संचालक राम खरेल, डिसिनेपालका संचालक रामहरी सुबेदीले शुभकामना मन्तब्य राख्नु भएको थियो भने अध्यक्ष्य थापाले स्वागत भासण् गर्दै समाज का बारेमा बोल्नु भएको थियो । समाजका महासचिब बिमल आचार्यले  धन्यवाद मन्तब्य  र कार्यक्रमको सन्चालन देबी सङ्रौलाले गर्नुभएको थियो ।

Happy New Year 2067! We wish you and your family a very happy, prosperous, healthy and peaceful new year.

During the last national election of ANA, we campaigned on promise to Change ANA and Deliver the results.
We heard from many of you that ANA was not inclusive or representative enough for the only national organization with direct membership base reflected in the leadership of apex body of ANA- the Executive Board. 

We consulted many and came away with the idea that we had to involve the local community leadership who were representative of their region.
In doing so we would be essentially relying on the local/ regional Nepali communities to make that choice for us. The result of that has been outstanding.

 In this new paradigm the idea is to maximize our resources for the common purposes. By leveraging and aggregating our resources we are achieving more together for our community.

Having this national platform body to share resources, knowledge, and coordinate in a meaningful way we will be able to serve further our community everywhere. Through free flow ideas and scaling resources for common objectives we will be doing more things, providing more services, and achieving greater good for the community.

Just in time when our micro minority community of Nepali Diaspora in North America is coming of age!  Change has come to ANA. Stay tuned, get involved.

ANA is an organization of the people of Nepali origin in the Americas and friends of Nepal. ANA was founded on July 1983 in New York and incorporated in Washington DC in 1983 as a non-profit tax-exempt organization.

ANA sets up Kathmandu office  

Association of Nepalese in America (ANA) has opened its contact office in Kathmandu with view to support those trying to travel to the United States of America.

In a statement issued Sunday, the ANA said its Nepal office will provide information for new immigrants and other visitors coming to North America and facilitate projects and other initiatives in Nepal by Nepalese organisations and non-resident Nepalese.

It further said, the office will act as conduit for coordination with institutions and authorities on behalf of ANA in Nepal.

"With the establishment, the potential to help people travelling both ways, and wanting to help will be nearly limitless," the statement reads.

The ANA statement further reads, "Having a common body to share resources, knowledge, and coordinate in a meaningful way can have wide implications for all the community everywhere. With established community leaders from all over US, we are sharing ideas and resources for common objectives; we are doing more things, providing more services, and achieving greater good for the community."

The ANA was establishment in 1983 as non-profit organisation and is the coalition of various other oganisations formed by the Nepalese living in the US.
