अमेरिकामा राजनीतिबाट पूर्णतया अलग रहने, नेपाल र नेपालीका हितमा काम गर्ने प्रतिबद्धताका साथ अर्को एउटा नयाँ सामाजिक संस्था "डिसी नेपाली समाज" जन्मिएको छ। अमेरिकि कानुन अनुसार दर्ता भै नियम अनुसार जन्मिएको यस संस्थामा अमेरिकामा लामो समय सम्म बसेका नेपाली देखी नयाँ सम्म सबैलाई समेटिएको संस्थाले जनाएकोछ । नब गठित संस्थाको अध्यक्ष्यमा स्वतन्त्र समाजसेबिको रुपमा राम्रो छबी बनाउनु भएका अरुण रुपाखेती हुनुहुन्छ। उपाध्यक्ष्यमा दधी ढुंगाना, महासचिबमा कमल पोखरेल, कोसाध्यक्ष्यमा राजेन्द्र खनाल रहनुभएको छ। कार्यसमितिका सदस्यहरुमा मधु अर्याल, कृष्ण चापागाइ,

गीता ढुंगेल, राम मिश्र, शुसिल थापा, मोहन ढुंगाना रहनु भएको छ। संस्थाको प्रमुख सम्रक्ष्यकमा २९ बर्ष देखी अमेरिका मा बसी नेपाली समुदायमा समाजसेबिको रुपमा काम गरिरहनु भएका प्रदिपराज मिश्र रहनुभएको कुरा संस्था द्वारा प्रकासित प्रेस रिलिजमा उल्लेख छ। नबगठित संस्थाले यही ओक्टोबर १५ तारिखमा सेन्टर्भिलमा पहिलो पटक बिजया दशमीको पावन अबसरमा शुभकामना आदान प्रदान, कार्य समितिका सदस्यहरु सँग साक्ष्यातकार कार्यक्रम, जलपानको कार्यक्रमको समेत आयोजना गर्दैछ ।

NPPA’s 19th Anniversary Bhintuna Celebration/1131 Nepal Sambat

Dear Community Friends and Families:

The executive committee of Nepa Pasa Pucha Amerikaye (NPPA) is pleased to invite

you, your family, and friends to attend NPPA’s 19th Annual Meeting coinciding with the

New Year 1131 Nepal Sambat being celebrated as MHA PUJA (Worship of Innerself) –

also known as “BHINTUNA” (Good Wishes). The theme of this year Bhituna program is

"Prospects of Cultural Tourism."

This unique cultural event of the Newah people of Nepal will be held on Saturday,

November 13, 20010 at Shady Grove Middle School, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Details regarding the preliminary program, venue,

directions, nearby hotel information and contacts are available at NPPA's website.

You are cordially invited to join an interaction program with Honorable Finance Minister of Nepal Mr. Surendra Pandey. Mr. Pandey will be sharing his views in:

i) Peace Building Process and Consitutional Writing,

ii) Current economic scenario and challenges of Nepalese Economy

iii) Brief Prospects of Nepal's development, and

iv) The roles that Non-resident Nepalese can play in Nepal’s development.

Nepal Rastra Bank's Governer Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada has also been invited to speak in the program. Dr. Khatiwada will share his views on prospects and problems in Nepal’s financial sector.
